What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is used. Similar technologies can store or access information for comparable purposes.

Cookies and technologies we use

EZ GIFT uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the online shop, including to:

• keep products and personalisation choices in the basket;
• maintain checkout and customer-account sessions;
• protect forms, accounts, payments and the website from fraud or misuse;
• remember essential choices; and
• allow Stripe to process payments, authenticate transactions and prevent fraud.

These technologies are necessary to provide services requested by the user or protect the transaction and do not require consent under the usual strictly-necessary exemption. Blocking them may prevent the basket, account or checkout from working.

We use a self-hosted Umami service for privacy-focused aggregate website measurement. It is configured not to place analytics cookies. We do not currently use advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies.

If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will explain their purpose and obtain valid consent before using them where the law requires it. Refusing non-essential cookies will not prevent access to the core shop.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may cause parts of the website to stop working. Where a cookie preference control is displayed, it can be used to change optional choices at any time.
